Hundred Days – Dancing with the animal
Although Stuart Curtin, Simon Evans and myself have been preforming, writing and recording music together since 2001, we started working on the first Hundred Days album in 2007. Ten years later we are ready to share our fourth collection of new songs and, just like our first record “How A War Is Won”, the songs on “Dancing With The Animal” are about the events in our lives leading up to the record, some were great, others really not great at all. It has been these events that have delayed and delayed this album for quite a while now but we are all extremely proud of the final result and can’t wait to share it with you.
Just as in the past, this record has been produced by the band itself but this time for the final mixes we handed handed the tracks over to Bruce Soord of fellow Yeovil band The Pineapple Thief, Bruce has done an amazing job with our music. This along with some new writing styles on a few of the tracks has by far made this album our best yet. You will be able to get your hands on a copy for the first time at our Friday night show at this year’s Home Farm Festival in Chilthorne Domer on the 9th June.
In the meantime keep up to date at here and look out for some sneak peaks of songs from the new album
